Participants are required to prepare health insurance covering the entire stay period before departure from their countries.
PICK UP ARRANGEMENT
Suvarnabhumi International Airport
- Upon your team’s arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the Meeting Point near Gate 3 and the Airport Information Counter of the Airport to pick you up.
- After leaving Exit B or C, please turn right and look for our staff. The staff will be holding the International Student Science Fair (ISSF 2025) sign.
Don Mueang Airport
Upon your team’s arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at Terminal 2 to pick you up.
HEALTH INFORMATION
Public Health Measures for Foreign Travelers Entering Thailand
From 1 March 2023 onwards, Thai authorities have NO requirements for proof of vaccination, and negative RT-PCR test result for travelers entering Thailand.
Opening Ceremony Procedures
- On January 27, 2025, all participants will undergo a temperature screening at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, prior to entering the venue. Participants displaying a high temperature will be required to take an ATK test. If the test result is positive, they will be accommodated in a designated quarantine room at the on-campus guest dormitories for a minimum of five days.
- Wearing face masks is not required.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Students: will be accommodated in on-campus guest dormitories with shared rooms (each room containing four single beds and private bathrooms accessible from within the room).

WIRELESS INFORMATION
All guests can use MWIT free internet connection when on campus. Usernames and passwords will be provided upon arrival at MWIT.
DRESS CODE FOR ATTENDING ACTIVITIES
Formal Attire for opening ceremony
Formal attires or school uniforms are recommended for the opening ceremony, and student project oral/poster presentations. Please wear a sleeved shirt or T-shirt, and long pants (that cover your ankles). Sleeveless shirts, short pants, torn pants, tight pants, and sandals are not allowed.
Casual Attire for outdoor activities
Light clothes with comfortable shoes are recommended for outdoor activities. Please ensure you are also protected with sunscreen.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THAILAND
- The weather in Thailand is generally hot and humid. During the ISSF 2025, the average temperature is 24-36 °C.
- Thailand Standard time is GMT +7.
- Recommended items to bring: Hat/Umbrella/Insect repellant/Water bottle/Face masks
- Electrical outlets in Thailand are 220v. Outlets generally feature flat, two-pronged plugs, so it is often necessary to have an adapter.
